The project of this house was developed in two volumes connected by a large open courtyard that takes advantage of the presence of a magnificent tree. The field is elongated with south view so the program distributed the family volume in 3 bedrooms at one end and the guests volume in the other.
The family volume is the central element of the project. A spacious living space that integrates - with two seating areas – the dining room, the kitchen and the TV room, both open. All the spaces have views to the ocean and the central courtyard filling the interior with light and natural ventilation during the whole day.
The master bedroom is on the upper level occupying the entire floor of the main space of the family volume. The finishes are neutral to intensify the colors and textures of the surrounding nature. Bamboo guadua was used for the structure of some inclined slabs, the lattices of the staircase and the pool pergola.
